7th Heavens

This could probably be the third month since i left Lineage 2. Deep down in my heart, I miss Lineage 2 and all of the friends I have met there. There's still tons of screen shots which I haven't uploaded..It will take a few more days to complete it.

Why did i left Lineage 2? I remember correctly I did not have the motivation to go. I was in the midst of looking for a clan but then i threw away everything. I have 2 monthly card with me and the new Kamael patch CD here but i am hesitating to join back. I can't and don't want to put the blame on her..So here I am currently in Cabal Online. I can hear the echo of Lineage 2 deep in my heart..is a matter of time before i make my comeback..I think.

I don't want to start comparing games because in the end it all boils down to one thing: People. Online games are only worth playing because of the people in it. The community. They are the reason why you enjoy playing for hours, weeks, months even to years. It reminds me of the time when I was trying out RO in private server. The lack of people playing was somehow a turn off. There was no fun and no motivation to visit it...even if the GM does summon mass mini boss/mvps. =p

In my humble opinion, I would rate Lineage 2 as one of the best games available. Although Lineage 2's concept is catered for those glory seekers/war/blood lust - it doesn't take away the fun. True, many may say Lineage 2 is a long tough grinding game, where money is the key to everything.. Let me ask in return, does Lineage 2 promote party leveling ? else whats with additional party exp? does it promote clan wars? dungeon quest? *hint* Lineage 2 isn't about solo game. Past level 40/50 you can feel how dreadful it is to solo. Which is why clans come into the picture. You dont do solo grinding past those levels. Its about partying.

Well, I am only saying this because currently I am playing Cabal Online..and the adventures I have had so far cannot compare to Lineage 2. (and RO LOL!!!!) Perhaps it due to the skill leveling concept where everyone is punching like mad..I admit I am still new to Cabal, maybe 2 months old but there is nothing fun to do anymore aside from leveling. Where as in lineage 2, we could have gone for boss raid, dungeon parties, PVP! Bleh, pvping in cabal only gives you 1 honor points..thats not fun =p

I know Cabal does offer dungeon quest but with the "skill experience" in consideration, would people party or rather solo? If you give me the choice, for skill exp sake, i would rather solo IF i can survive. There you go. So you can say goodbye to parties.

An example of why i said there are mad punchers.. A few days ago, i met a level 2 warrior with the skill of transdancer. Not mad enough? That's the max level.

If I do stay in Cabal online, I am looking forward to the nation wars.
